By Nikki JamiesonSunny South NewsCoaldale town council has approved a new IDP between the Town of Coaldale and Lethbridge County.During Coaldale town council’s regular March 13 meeting, a public hearing was held for Bylaw 861-P-01-23, or the Lethbridge County and Town of Coaldale Intermunicipal Development Plan.An IDP helps to provide a framework regarding land use and development in the fringe area between two or more municipalities. The Municipal Government Act (MGA) mandates that two or more councils of municipalities with common boundaries that are not members of a growth region must adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) through the passing of a bylaw.“Fundamentally speaking, this document is very similar to the previous plan, which was adopted in 2010. CHESTERFIELD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police have arrested two people in connection to a suspicious Chesterfield death reported on Tuesday. On March 20, around 2:12 a.m., police responded to State Route 9 near the AuSable Chasm Bridge in Chestertown for reports of a suspicious death. Police found Kenneth Darrah, 37, dead on the riverbank on the north bank of the river. An investigation including Plattsburgh City Police, the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, Essex County Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Border Patrol determined a physical altercation happened on the bridge, which Darrah was stabbed and thrown off of it. NEW YORK (PIX11) — A famed New York City pizzeria is no longer offering its $1 slice to customers after inflation forced it to hike the price by 50%, according to reports. 2 Bros. Pizza is ending the deal at its St Mark's Place location in Manhattan's East Village, according to Eater New York. MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A traffic stop in Moreau resulted in three drug arrests on Saturday. Alexia Azan (19, Fort Edward), Joshua Waddell (42, Fort Edward), and Matthew Bennett (40, Queensbury) each face charges. On Saturday, March 18, around 8:20 p.m., police pulled a car over in Moreau for several vehicle and traffic law violations. Police identified the driver as Waddell and Azan and Bennett as passengers.
